Report on the XVI International Congress of the International Federation of Automatic Control.

The article provides information on the report on the XVI International Congress of the International Federation of Automatic Control that was held at Prague Palace of Congress in Czech Republic from July 4-8, 2005. The congress had more than 2, 200 attendees who presented 2, 454 papers. Some of the papers focuses on the control of moving objects, actual application of the modern theories to the problems of industrial and transportation, and prehistory and evolution of the system theory.
