Abstract

The article discusses the advantages in building a prefabricated house in the U.S. Prefabricated house offers buyer better materials, finer craftsmanship and lower prices compared to traditional stick-built houses. Prefabricated homes can be assembled by two men in less than a day while stick-built houses can be built by five men in two days. Manufactured home builders also benefit from mass production of prefabricated house because of lower wage rates, better craftsmanship and accurate inventory control.
