Abstract

The article provides information on a new hypothesis regarding the nature of animal population control. Most animals maintain their population size at a fairly constant level. Each of their population seems to be regulated by some system, ecologists have been seeking to discover. Studies have found that animals do maintain constant population levels that limit reproduction to avoid overexploitation of their food resources.
