The article reports developments on teacher education in the state of California. A workshop was held for classroom supervisors at the College of Pacific in Stockton to discuss and share common problems they have encountered. The California Congress of Parents and Teachers, a committee of the California Council on Teacher Education, has been studying the preparation of teachers for home-school community relations. A State Conference on Appraisal of Educational Problems was called by the California Congress of Parents and Teachers and the School of Education at Stanford University.
