Abstract
- Miss Hildreth, Assistant Professor of Education at Brooklyn College, Brooklyn, New York, spoke as President of the Division of Educational Psychology, American Psychological Association, at The Pennsylvania State College, September 5, 1950. in her address she challenged teacher-education leaders to a reexamination of many commonly accepted assumptions and widely used procedures in the education of teachers. Her plea for an enlarged role for experiential learning throughout the entire period of preparation is backed by concise argument in this article. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
