Abstract
- The article discusses the relationships of memory to information. The author describes strategies for overcoming what he calls, limitations of perception and cites theories developed by Rene Descartes, Sir William Hamilton and the mathematical theory of communication developed by Norbert Wiener and Claude Shannon. He also touches on mnemonics, unitizing and symbolizing and the use of linguistics.
