ALLIED GROUPS.

The article focuses on the allied groups in the Council for Exceptional Children (CEC) in the U.S. The types of allied organizations includes divisions, affiliates, and full-member participants in a federation of organizations. The CEC constitution provides the provisions on the requirements and privileges of CEC divisions. The CEC constitution in dealing with the subject of affiliates merely authorizes the board of governors to accept an organized group or agency into such relationship with International and to fix the terms of mutual assistance.
