Abstract
- The article focuses on the lateral dominance in retarded readers with brain dysfunction. The study selects retarded readers who have signs of brain dysfunction. The examination consists of the Gray Oral Reading Paragraphs, the Peabody Picture Vocabulary Test, and the Harris Tests of Lateral Dominance. A table signifies the characteristics of the retarded readers with brain dysfunction. A pediatric neurologist also examines the subjects. The high incidence of crossed dominance appears to be a function of left-eyedness.
