Abstract
- The article features the Jewish hospital named Morris J. Solomon Clinic for the rehabilitation of retarded children in Brooklyn, New York. The clinic was organized to provide diagnostic and therapeutic services for the mentally retarded children living in the community. The organization was developed by an association of parents in retaliation to the discrimination of the society against retarded children. The association aims to prove to the community that retarded children are educable, trainable and could function as part of a family unit.
