Abstract

In this paper an attempt has been made to analyze a multimachine system composed of a number of self-excited induction generators (SEIG). A simple model has been proposed to carry out the steady state analysis of the system. The model results in a single equation for terminal voltage in contrast to a number of equations as obtained by many other researchers. Computed results have been verified using experimental results on a system including two self-excited induction generators. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
