Abstract

The article presents an adaptation of an address presented to the Third State of the University Conference by J. Harris Purks. The author gives his analysis of the way to do academic planning. He creates an illustration of a fictitious curriculum in an institution of higher learning to address his point. He suggests that the greatest obstacle to discovering what we should do is the lack of a routine for obtaining a genuine consensus with our faculties.
