Abstract
- The article focuses on the application of the Emotional Climate Scale and the Observational Schedule Record (OScAR) were used in investigating the relationship between personality and classroom behavior. Significantly, the OScAR have been originally selected to define emotional climate in precise, operational, behavioral terms. The author assesses the details of the scaling system and the subscale intercorrelations used. Furthermore, the observation schedules were analyzed to see the frequency with which certain behaviors occurred and to assess if the intern groups were different on an intem-by-item analysis. The Analysis of Variance for a Completely Randomized Design One-way Classification was used in the calculation of the analysis of variance.
