Abstract

The article investigates the effectiveness of current instructional methods in the development of understandings of selected principles of physics at three levels of second school instruction in the U.S. An objective test was created to determine understanding of the principles. In conclusion, the variance and analysis of covariance with the factor of intelligence controlled was also significant in the research. Lastly, the instructional methods dealt with the understanding of the principles of static electricity, magnetism, and sound.
