Abstract: The article reports on the range of methods used in the original papers in the "Journal of Clinical Nursing." In this issue of the journal the author included original papers only. He use the content of the abstract to decide what the main methodological feature of the paper was. The author discusses the problems relating to the methodological variety of papers published in nursing journal.
