Imagining a More Expansive Narrative of American Art.

The article discusses the history of Latino art in the U.S. The author presents some factors which led to the acceptance of Latino art, including the growing population of Latinos in the country. A number of books are being produced discussing different movements and periods of Latino art. The author also features a new generation of Latino art historian that historicize Latino cultural production.
