Archives of Reality.

The article comments on the emergence in a number of cities of major archives that seek to document the creative expressions of the U.S. Latino community. The author features some projects about preserving Latin art. Several factors have stimulated the sense of urgency embodied in these projects. She also assesses the results of these efforts, including the visibility of Latino culture.
