Abstract: The article presents an addendum to the publications of the Dutch scholar G. W. J. Drews' "The Burda of Al-Busiri" and "The Miracles of Abdulqadir al-Jaelani in West Java." The article is divided into three section including Drewes' approach to the subject materials, the Burda and pasentren culture in West Java and the miracles of Abdulqadir Al-Jaelani. The first reflects Drewe's approach to scholarship. The two sections presents unpublished reports of customs prominent in West Java.
