- The article reports that retailer R.H. Macy & Co. is managing its cash-flows soundly. It is noted that Macy's yearly cash flow stands at 18%-plus while that of its competitor Campeau Corp. is under 8%. It is also described as how the downward trend in the retailing business and competition with Campeau Corp. has affected Macy's adversely. Despite financial problems, Macy's ended its year with $150 million surplus cash.
