Abstract

The article presents information on hunting deer, during the late bow season. Late bow seasons allow hunters to hunt dear when centerfires are illegal and muzzleloader hunting is restricted to a few days. Most whitetails breed between late September and late March. This happens when the latitude degrees is between 28 and 36. In some areas, peak breeding occurs in November, but in other areas not until December or January. The most important role to be played in late-season hunting is played by scents.
