Abstract

The article reports on the refusal of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS) Disciplinary Committee to the second application by Maurice Kirk for restoration in London, England. Kirk is the owner of a practice in Barry. His name was removed from the RCVS Register after the Privy Council rejected his appeal against the Disciplinary Committee's verdict in a case heard in May 2002. At the original hearing, the committee had found that 11 criminal convictions for a range of offenses committed between 1994 and 2000 that rendered him unfit to practice veterinary surgery.
