Abstract

The article reports on the decision of General Mills Inc. to cancel its promoted contest called the General Mills Summertime Favorites Sweepstakes due to printing error. Terry Thompson, director-communications of General Mills, states that the debacle has never happened before. According to Craig Shulstead, director of consumer and public affairs, the decision to rerun the contest has not been made.
