SICE 2005 in Okayama.

This article provides information on the 2005 Society of Instrumentation and Control Engineers (SICE) Annual Conference held in Okayama, Japan from August 8 to 10, 2005. The conference was sponsored by SICE and supported financially by the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science. The event is an international conference on instrumentation, control, and information technology. The conference encompassed a wide range of topics, including sensors and transducers, identification and estimation and system theory and engineering. More than 800 papers were submitted to the conference, with 30% of the accepted papers submitted from countries outside Japan.
