The article reports on the launch of a new brand of "Paper Towel," by Scott Paper Co., a manufacturer of paper towels in Canada. 2005 marks the 75th anniversary of the paper towel. Originally conceived as a sanitary germ-fighter for industrial settings, this disposable yet indispensable household item is ubiquitous in Canada. To celebrate its remarkable and totally practical creation, Scott Paper has reinvented its paper towel for the future. It is introducing Sponge Towels, the next generation of Scot Towels. To support the launch of Sponge Towels paper towels an innovative integrated marketing campaign featuring national print and broadcast advertising was developed.
