The article presents information on the publication of the quarterly issues of the "Journal of World History," which contains papers related to the United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization's project for a cultural history of mankind. The final work, together with criticisms of them by other experts, has turned to twelve, and the enterprise is developing with an ever-increasing weight of erudition and research. But the original target-date for publication will not be reached after all. It has been informed that the final manuscripts of the English and French texts of the six volumes will take time to get completed. The publication date is likely to be 1960, followed by the abridged school and popular editions.
