Geac Inks Agreement with Digital of Canada.

The article reports that Geac Computer Corporation Limited has entered into an agreement with Digital Equipment of Canada Limited as Complementary Solutions Organizations, in September 1990. This relationship will allow Geac to offer its new PICK-based ADVANCE trademark automated library system on Digital's ULTRIX platforms on a worldwide basis. The ADVANCE automated library system of Geac was launched nine months ago. This new generation product from Geac automates functions of public, academic and special libraries including Circulation, Online Cataloguing, Acquisitions and Serials Control.
