This article features the UnCover online database from the Colorado Alliance of Research Libraries (CARL). The database is designed to reflect those periodicals currently available in the collections of the member libraries of CARL. Records are being created from actual issues received and are based on the tables of contents of these issues. CARL is building a special function into the UnCover system that will make it possible for users to request onsite delivery of any document discovered in the database. CARL expects to have that delivery system fully in place by the end of 1989.
