IHS International Standards and Specifications On Dialog.

This article reports on the decision of Information Handling Services (IHS) and Dialog Information Services to make the IHS International Standards and Specifications File available worldwide on Dialog, as of October 1988. The IHS Standards and Specifications File, to be called File 92 on DIALOG contains more than 124,000 industry standards and 84,000 military specifications and standards records covering primarily all aspects of electrical, electronic, mechanical, chemical, facilities maintenance and aeronautical engineering and related disciplines. The military portion of the database represents the world's largest commercially available collection of unclassified active and historical federal standardization documents.
