Abstract
- The article reports that several European leaders are asking the Reagan Administration to support a plan to improve the East-West relations which could result to an increase in trade. On his visit to Washington, French President Francois Mitterrand encouraged U.S. officials to find a way to resume arms-reduction talks with Russia. The article provides an overview of changes in the European trade with the East bloc.
