Abstract
- The article reports that Federal Express Corp. has unveiled its ZapMail electronic document delivery service in the U.S. Federal has zapped the service and will take a $190 million aftertax write-off in its second quarter ending November 30, 1986. The company figured that satellite transmission would supplant airplanes as the favored, and the most cost-effective method for businesses to ship documents to far-flung locations.
