Abstract

The article presents information on new shock-absorbent racquets that reduce stress on the arm thereby minimizing the risk of getting tennis elbow. Rick Janes, research & development manager for the Spalding Taxi racquet at the company Spalding, states that these racquets use synthetic materials which work like a car's shock absorber. Racquets like Wilson's Profile have been designed to cut wind resistance which results in the application of massive power with an incredibly light feel.
