Abstract
- The article focuses on the report which was assembled by a Presidential commission headed by J. Peter Grace, chairman of W. R. Grace & Co, regarding the cutting of federal spending in the United States. This report includes 2,200 separate proposals that if implemented would effect a projected $400 billion in savings over three years. This report has evolved as a line of defense for antitax conservatives.
