Abstract
- The article focuses on the new arms control agreement between the by the U.S. and Soviet Union after World War II. According to the author, military planners are worried once nuclear missiles and other military weapons are removed from Europe. As the memory of the war haunted Europe, some European nations retain their nuclear missile forces. Moreover, the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) as will as the U.S. allies started to build up their nuclear and nonnuclear forces.
