Abstract

The article reports on the encouragement of James E. Burke, chairman and CEO of Johnson & Johnson company to consider risk-taking in the business. Burke stressed that is significant for companies to engage with the latest innovation and the development of products that helps them generate profits. He stated that Johnson & Johnson's failures motivated them to learn from their mistakes and developed plans to address the problems. He argued that risk taking offers positive results.
