Abstract
- The article reports that Eastman Kodak Co. is striving to grab more market share in Japan. Kodak has only 15 percent of the Japanese market while Fuji Photo Film Co. has 70 percent. Kodak has launched a technical center for customers and distributors, revealed plans to construct a Japanese research center, and purchased a 10 percent stake in a Japanese camera producer, and acquired a Japanese distributor of various business products.
