Abstract
- The article reports on the plan of Japan to create a new Tokyo by the year 2000. The country is planning to construct new buildings in the city. The 625 million dollar, 37-storey Art Hills complex was opened in the spring of 1986. Construction will begin in 1988 on an 844 million dollar twin-tower city government center in Western Tokyo's Shinjuku area.
