Abstract
- The paper presents results from a study about preferences for different information sources among package and non-package travelers. The information sources are divided into four main groups and a number of sub-categories. Six hypotheses are tested. The respondents in this study ranked the Internet is as the most useful information sources for non-package travel. For package travel the Internet is rank as number three. The most preferred source for this segment was brochures and direct contact with travel agents and tour-operators. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
