VI Conference “Dynamics and Thermal Conditions of Rivers, Reservoirs, and Coastal Zone of Seas”.

This article provides information on several papers presented at the VI Conference on the Dynamics and Thermal Conditions of Rivers, Reservoirs, and Coastal Zone of Seas which took place in Moscow, Russia on November 22 to 26, 2004. The trend in mathematical modeling of dynamics of currents in rivers and reservoirs was covered in the papers of E.S. Afanas'ev, B.I. Samolyubov and K.I. Zvezdun. The hydrological regime of reservoirs under different climatic conditions and their significance from the point of view of resource use were discussed in the papers of S.E. Bednarukand and I.L. Grigor'eva. The general report of V.N. Zyryanov outlined the following aspects of development in studying the dynamics of coastal zone of seas over the last years.
