JEL Classification System.

The article presents information on several categories used to classify books, book reviews, journal articles, and dissertations in the "Journal of Economic Literature." Following are some of the categories--general economics and teaching, schools of economic thought and methodology, mathematical and quantitative methods, microeconomics, macroeconomics and monetary economics.
