North American Journal of Economics and Finance.

The article evaluates the "North American Journal of Economics and Finance," published by JAI Press for the North American Economics and Finance Association. Some of the topics discussed in the Fall 1992 issue include: economic effects of North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) on agriculture and capital markets; NAFTA debt constraint and structural reform; Mexican agriculture in economywide policy; agricultural and food policies in a U.S.-Mexico free trade area; the dynamic gains from North American free trade in an equilibrium model of the current account; U.S.- Mexico pesticide residue regulations and the use of a simple duopoly model to study the implications of trade, under a proposed NAFTA.
