This article provides information on the three new files on Dialog that supply comprehensive online coverage of companies in Great Britain and the U.S. as of April 1984. The ICC British Company Directory, which went up as file 561 in March, profiles 900,000 companies that are listed with the British Companies Registry. Each listing gives the name and address of the company plus dates of incorporation and the most recent date the company filed its accounts and returns. A companion file, ICC British Company Financial Datasheets, gives detailed filings data on over 60,000 British companies. Records include information on the holding company, directors, description of the business, full financial information and precomputed ratios of company performance.
