Abstract

A recent study conducted in Osun State, Nigeria, aimed to determine the prevalence and factors associated with malaria and anemia among children aged 2-18 months. The research found that children aged 7-12 months and 13-18 months had higher odds of malaria infection compared to those aged 2-6 months. Household wealth and the child's age were significantly associated with malaria infection. The study concluded that these findings could help inform interventions to reduce the burden of malaria in young children. [Extracted from the article]
