Abstract
- A study conducted at the University of Airlangga in Surabaya, Indonesia, focused on the effects of a 4-week Delirium Introduction and Maintenance program on nurses' knowledge, confidence, attitudes, and screening accuracy for delirium in pediatric intensive care units (PICUs). The research involved 44 nurses in Indonesian PICUs and found that the intervention group showed significant improvements in knowledge, self-confidence, attitudes, and screening accuracy compared to the control group. The study concluded that implementing comprehensive delirium education programs can enhance delirium recognition and management in PICUs, with potential long-term benefits on patient outcomes.
