Abstract

Southwest Medical University researchers conducted a study on hepatitis B virus-associated hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) and identified RAD51AP1 as a key gene in the progression of this disease. The research focused on understanding the mechanisms of HBV-associated HCC to improve prognosis and develop effective treatments. The study found that high expression of RAD51AP1 was linked to worse overall survival in patients with HBV-associated HCC, and identified a potential ceRNA axis involving LINC01419 and miR-8070 that promotes the proliferation and metastasis of HBV-associated HCC cells. The findings offer new insights into the underlying mechanisms and may lead to potential diagnostic and therapeutic targets for HBV-associated HCC. [Extracted from the article]
