In the text, I was looking for possible categories of analysis and meanings of the term „subjectivity” in the message (content) of the old and new versions of the novel about Mr. Kleks's academy. I was interested in the similarities and differences between the mentioned concepts and the meanings given to them. The research was conducted on a sample of two novels, i.e. by Jan Brzechwa entitled Mr. Kleks Academy and Mr. Kleks. New Beginning. We used archive search method and qualitative content analysis Conclusions - the research showed many similarities in the interpretation of the category of subjectivity (subjectivity as the goal of upbringing and the educational relationship), the differences concerned the meanings given to the concept. They resulted from social, cultural and political changes that changed the shape of contemporary education. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
