Abstract
- Herein we report a unique sandwich-like heterometallic Fe<subscript>7</subscript>Sn<subscript>6</subscript> oxo cluster, which features an Anderson-type {Fe<subscript>7</subscript>} wheel sandwiched by two {Sn<subscript>3</subscript>} layers and is formed via the coordination-induced effect of 2,6-pyridinedicarboxylate. The highly efficient photothermal conversion capability and excellent photothermal stability of Fe<subscript>7</subscript>Sn<subscript>6</subscript> demonstrate the potential for solar energy conversion.
