Abstract
- The article discusses the Generalized Haldane (GH) model, which aims to track population size changes and address genetic drift paradoxes in molecular evolution. It highlights the underestimation of genetic drift and the limitations of the standard Wright-Fisher model in defining genetic drift accurately. The integration of the Wright-Fisher and Haldane models (WFH) is proposed as a solution to resolve these paradoxes and provide a more comprehensive understanding of genetic drift in molecular evolution. The preprint has not yet undergone peer review, and more information can be found on biorxiv.org. [Extracted from the article]
