Abstract
- Researchers at Ondokuz Mayis University conducted a study on the effect of different storage periods and mediums on the germination and seedling parameters of Faba bean seeds. The experiment found that storing seeds for 8 and 10 months resulted in the highest germination values, with minimal loss of germination power after a year of storage. The study concluded that the germination rate of Faba bean seeds should be studied early on the 4th day, and that storage medium did not significantly impact the observed measurements.
