Abstract
- Researchers from the University of Connecticut conducted a study on mosquito-borne diseases in Honduras, focusing on local experiences with health and disease beyond traditional vector control methods. The research identified three local perspectives on health-disease processes, highlighting unmet local needs and experiences of dispossession under neoliberal regimes. Funded by the Inter-American Foundation Grassroots Development Fellowship, this peer-reviewed study offers critical insights into public health approaches in the region. [Extracted from the article]
