Abstract
- A recent study conducted at the University of Alabama Birmingham has explored new strategies to overcome radio-resistance in patient-derived glioblastoma cells. The research focused on altering fractionation during radiation therapy and found that delivering four-fraction doses in a 'ramped down' manner was most effective at inducing cytotoxicity in brain tumor-initiating cells. This study, which has been peer-reviewed, provides valuable insights into potential treatment approaches for glioblastomas. [Extracted from the article]
