Abstract
- A study conducted by Jilin Agricultural Science and Technology University in China examined the effects of distiller's dried grains with solubles (DDGS) on methane emissions in dairy and beef cattle. The meta-analysis found that including DDGS in cattle diets did not significantly impact dry matter intake, methane production, or methane yield. The research suggests that incorporating DDGS into cattle diets can be done without worsening methane emissions, promoting sustainable livestock feeding practices. [Extracted from the article]
